Today, as you face life’s changes, find comfort in these words: “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”
Pray
The amethyst morning glories twisting open today will not last—
God, the impermanence of this world is hard to accept.
But when I remember you are the everlasting one,
all my clinging—the way vines cling—falls away.
And I know that the “Glory Be” is the truth I need to let my life shift,
knowing you were, are, and will be moving
within every passing season in my heart.
