Reflect
There is an old hymn called “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” It speaks of the privilege and comfort of the depth of intimacy Jesus shares with each of us on a personal level; through all the joys and sorrows, ups and downs of life. A simple, yet powerful hymn, through it we are reminded what a faithful friend Jesus is to each of us.
Pray
Dear Jesus,
you are the friendship
of the Father and the Son.
You reveal and show to us
the love of God made flesh.
Because of your earthly life,
you can relate and draw close
to all our human experiences.
May I never take friendship with you for granted.
Amen.

Deepen your prayer with Jesus today by asking him these questions and then see what he says back to you: Jesus, what do you think of me right now? Jesus, what do you have to say to me about ________ (insert a situation on your mind right now)?
