As followers of Christ Jesus, we share in his work of salvation. Thank God for the witness of those who have shared the faith with you.
Pope St. John Paul II remarked that “Love between man and woman cannot be built without sacrifices and self-denial.” This is the nature of all Christian love.
“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God that things that are God’s” (Mark 12:17). While others rightly have authority over many things, this must always be exercised in accordance with God’s divine law.
We Catholics love symbols. Go to just about any Catholic church and you will be greeted by a legion of statues, a dazzling display of stained glass images, a prominent altar, a golden tabernacle, and loads of candles. Chief among these symbols is water.
Pray for someone you know who is responsible for educating others. Then let them know how much you value their work.
