September 29 is known as the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. May we not forget what the Holy Family endured while finding ways to work for greater justice for those fleeing their country.
Each time I pray the words of the Serenity Prayer, I am reminded of how I am not in control of my life or the people and situations around me.
There is something beautiful in celebrating and experiencing a culture that is different from your own.
