We live in perhaps the most divisive time in our country’s history. Consider the people in your life with whom you strongly disagree on various issues. In this time of confusion, Jesus calls us to see clearly through the lens of justice for all.

God of all, you call us to move
beyond sound bites and partisan politics
so we can create and build a vision for the
common good of all people.
Stretch us to grow in the ways of listening,
compassion, empathy, and mercy.
Bless our nation as we work towards unity,
which can only be found in you.
