Reflect
“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep” (Jn 10:11). Christ is the model for a genuine leader. Let us pray for our shepherds that they may reflect his example.
Pray
Christ,
you seek the lost
and comfort the afflicted.
You bind our wounds
and heal our broken spirits.
You did not shy from danger
for our sake,
but sought to save us
by giving your very life
for us.
Give that same spirit
to priests and bishops,
that the world
might see you
reflected in them.
Amen.
Act
Call your pastor or pastoral administrator today and let him or her know of your prayers of support. If he or she is an excellent shepherd, pray that the Lord may strengthen that gift. If not, pray that he or she may have a conversion of heart.
