A well-known Church hymn, “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace,” is often associated with the life and ministry of St. Francis of Assisi. The virtue of peace is one that our world, families, Church, and work environments desperately need. What does it look like to be an agent of peace in my daily life?

Oh Prince of Peace,
show me what it means to be a true peacemaker
in the world around me.
Show me how I can live more fully in your presence.
Give me opportunities to speak words of peace over others.
Help me to live with an awareness that living in peace
is something you desire for all people of all nations.
