Reflect
Some of the greatest enemies of a spiritual life are the “oughts” and “ifs.” Real life—the full life—takes place in the here and now. We follow a God who is God of the present. God is always with us in the present moment—be that moment joyful or painful, hard, or easy.
Pray
Dear God,
help me to discover
and experience you,
right where I am,
here and now.
Teach me that my current reality
is in the center of your will.
May I never forget
your presence is with me always.
