Reflect
God would bend over backwards, would go to the ends of the earth, would walk through fire, would ride through a storm, would die for the sake of you. That is an inexplicable, reckless, unrepeatable love that is so mind-boggling that only the heart and soul can begin to grasp it.
Pray
God our Father, who am I to be loved by you?
I am nowhere near deserving, and I have sinned against you,
whom I should love above all things.
Yet there you are, arms outstretched waiting for me.
Amen.
Act
Read the parable of the lost sheep (Matthew 18:12-14; Luke 15:3-7) and imagine yourself as the one for whom God leaves the flock. How does that resonate?
