Reflect
It seems to me that one of the most difficult things in the spiritual life is opening oneself up to experiencing God’s love, grace, and goodness during the liminal times of our lives—that space of helplessness and unknowing between the crucifixion and Resurrection.
Pray
Grace upon grace, today’s invitation:
Help me see it, help me feel it, help me savor and believe
love and goodness still flows even when
my heart slips into despair.
I want to know you and the power of resurrection,
but I think we’re still
in the grave, you and I, waiting for a miracle.
Act
Each of us, in different ways, is probably in the waiting room of faith right now. Might we open ourselves up to still experience love and grace in liminality?
