Family life is not always picture perfect like a pretty Hallmark card. Sometimes it is wracked with heartache, pain, addiction, abandonment, or loss.
Pray
Dear God,
Please bring your healing balm
and presence
to wounds or hurt
that exist in my family.
You desire the human family
to be a place
of peace, love, and grace.
May I be an agent
of those gifts
in my own family
as you see fit and proper.
Amen.
Act
Is there someone in my family I need to make amends with? Is there someone in my family I need to set a boundary with? Lord, give me the courage to act as I should.
