Dear God,
Today, help me
release the tight hold
on my dark burdens
so light can reach
into my heart.
Redirect my gaze
to the magic that exists
all around me,
starting with the miracles
in nature.
As I begin my day,
opening my front door,
let me also open the door
to joy.
