Reflect
Sometimes the only way to grasp the inexhaustible generosity of God is to look back, to recognize all of the ways God has abundantly provided for you. Look back on your past and allow every piece remind you of how God faithfully provides. God never ceases to be generous with us, even when we do not pay attention or miss things.
Pray
Dear God,
Sometimes I too easily forget
your generosity and faithfulness.
All too often it is easier
to look at what I do not have
vs. all the ways
you have been generous to me.
Just because things sometimes look different
than I desire,
does not mean you are any less generous to me.
Amen.
Act
Set a timer for 10 minutes and just start to count all the ways God has been generous to you in your life. Afterward, write down a few of the ways that surprised you.
