Reflect
Siblings are our first—and often our finest—friends. And while it’s not always a symbiotic relationship, our sisters and brothers bring a sense of humor and history to our days, regardless of our age.
Pray
Dear God,
My siblings and I share more than DNA.
We share a history of peaks and valleys,
tears and laughter, fights and folly.
I’m only glad I haven’t had
to make this journey on my own.
Thank you for brothers and sisters everywhere
who share a bond more precious than gold.
They are gifts for which I can never repay.
Amen.
Act
Share this prayer with your siblings. If you are an only child, share it with friends who feel like family. They make the world a little less cold.
