Reflect
Jacinta Marto (1910-1920) and her brother Francisco were among those struck down by the influenza pandemic of 1918. The little girl had become focused on saving souls after Our Lady of Fatima showed the Martos and a cousin a vision of hell. After Jacinta became ill, the Blessed Virgin asked if she was willing to suffer further to convert more souls. Jacinta said she was—and did.
Pray
Mother Mary,
share with me
the strength you showed at the cross
so that others may be converted
by seeing me live my faith
rather than hearing my angry words.
Act
Show patience in an interaction where your first instinct is to be defensive.
