The saints are our companions on our uneven journeys. Though St. Anthony is known as the finder of lost objects, he can also help us find the intangibles—such as joy.
Pray
Dear God, I haven’t lost my keys,
my wallet,
or a piece of jewelry.
But I’ve lost a reason to smile,
to be joyful.
Your beloved saint, Anthony, can help me find it.
He can help soothe a worried mind and heavy heart.
I am asking that he do that for me.
Amen.
