Reflect
St. Anthony of Padua is often called upon when we have lost something—our keys, wallet, homework. Yet he was also an outstanding preacher. He spoke in a way that allowed ordinary people to understand the extraordinary mercy of God.
Pray
St. Anthony, wonder-counselor and seeker of what is lost,
intercede for me now that I may see as you did.
Help me to notice God in the ordinary moments of my life.
Take what seems commonplace and reveal God’s glory even there.
