Solitaire is a way to pass the time. I am pleased when I conquer the challenge, as though it was my cleverness alone that won the victory.

Thank you, good and gracious God, for all the success, all the victories, all the security I have known in this life. Help me to remember that the gifts of mind, body and heart I possess have come from you. Even the desire to become my best self is an inspiration you have planted within me. Strengthen me on my path.
Act
I will carry a King of Hearts with me today. It will remind me. When I see it, it will remind me that the cards I have been dealt will bring me to your own heart at the end.
