Reflect
The optimist believes everything will work itself out. As Christians we are not optimists; we are people of hope. This means placing your trust in the God who saves. He is always at your side.
Pray
Come, Holy Spirit,
ease my weary mind
with the confidence
that you are near.
I place myself
under the shelter of your wings.
I do not know
what lies ahead,
but with you at my side
I dare to go forth in hope. Amen.
Act
Think of what God has done for you in your life. Of those moments when things seemed too much for you to handle, but in the end you came out stronger. God has never left you and never will.
