Daily Reading from the USCCB: Acts 16:1-10
After a period of consolidation in Pisidian Antioch, Paul revisited the towns he had evangelized previously and enlisted Timothy into his company.
Paul planned to travel further, proclaiming the news of salvation. Somehow the Holy Spirit kept him from heading either to the right or to the left from the path they had entered. God seemed to have plans for their journey and was not about to have them preempted by Paul and his apostolic band. Eventually, in a dream the Holy Spirit directed them to the Roman province of Macedonia.
God still directs the Church wherever he wishes it to go. We don’t know how he lets his will be known, but somehow it gets accomplished. It was so then and it is so now.
